The Western European region is home to some of the most casino-filled regions after North America. There are over a hundred gaming facilities in various countries such as France, the UK, Spain, Germany, and Italy. In Monaco, there are four iconic casinos. The First World Hotel is the largest hotel by room count in the world. It features over 400 gaming tables and 3,000 slot machines. The RWG resort has a gaming floor area that measures 204,514 square feet.

There are over 50 gaming facilities outside of Entertainment City in the Philippines. Some of these include the Okada Manila, Solaire, and City of Dreams Manila. In 2020, Resorts World and the international hotel group, Travellers International, are planning on opening a new facility that will feature a casino, multiple luxury hotels, and an opera house.

In addition to Macau, other regions in Asia have started to attract more gaming facilities. For instance, in Vietnam, citizens can now enjoy gambling at the country’s casinos. In 2016, Japan allowed the establishment of integrated casino resorts. Although the exact landscape of the gaming industry in this region is still unknown, it is estimated that the industry could generate up to $25 billion annually.

The actual number of gaming facilities in this region may vary. For instance, the low estimate suggests that there will only be two resorts, while the high estimate indicates that there will be 10 regional casinos.

Oceania Casinos

In Australia, two major gaming facilities are currently under construction. One of these is the Star Brisbane, which will feature five hotels and a casino. The other is the Crown Sydney, which will cost around $1.5 billion and feature six-star hotel accommodations and VIP gaming facilities.

Currently, there are around 20 gaming facilities in Australia. One of the largest is the Crown Casino Melbourne, which has over 200,000 square feet of gaming space.
